Last year, Google coined Android 5.0 as Android L during the Google I/O 2014 event and the fact that it has made to just 10 percent of all Android devices so far, is not stopping Google from talking about next version of Android. Google mentioned it under the “Android for Work” session (which is removed now) which was scheduled for 2:30 – 3:00 PM PST on the 28th of May.
“Android for Work” session only says Android M “brings power of Android to all kinds of workplaces” without further details. Google has already stated its intention by saying that they would want Android to be running on phones, tablets, in cars, powering TVs, and even running on Chrome OS. That being said they have their work cut out for them and they would need to put a lot of work if they want it running over a wide range of places.
