After being crowned as the flagship killer the OnePlus Two is all set to make waves again as the successor of the much acclaimed OnePlus One. According to the sources the OnePlus Two is set to launch in Q3 along with a cheaper device from the Chinese tech manufacturer. We can expect to see them by the end of 2015.
Initially the OnePlus two was speculated to launch in either Q2 or Q3 but the official Bloomberg feature has confirmed the release schedule. Although no details were provided for the upcoming smartphones they do claimed the company plans to ship close to 10 million units by the end of 2016.
OnePlus having sold over a million devices of OnePlus One are seeking capital investment to help the company grow. Carl pei the co-founder of OnePlus has said that
“We lack the experience to help us grow one step further, so we are actually in talks with VCs in the Valley,” Pei said in an interview at company headquarters in Shenzhen, China. “The most important part is access to experience and senior-level talent that will help us scale further.” He declined to give an estimate of the amount of funds to be raised or the company’s valuation.”
